PROGRAM
FRIDAY
Arrival at Prague Airport and private transfer to the hotel.
In the late afternoon, free time to enjoy the magical Christmas atmosphere of the city and taste local traditional specialties in the many food stands in the historic centre.
SATURDAY
Breakfast at the hotel. At 09:25 meeting with the guide in Powder Tower, where all the necessary information will be provided.
At 09:30 the guided tour of the city begins, dedicated to discovering the most iconic locations in the historic centre of Prague.
The itinerary covers several kilometres to allow you to fully enjoy its artistic and architectural wonders.
Tour route:
– Old Town Square: among the most beautiful in Europe and the heart of Prague, home to the Astronomical Clock, the Church of Our Lady of Týn, the Municipal House and many other historical monuments.
– Josefov, the Jewish Quarter: the Old-New Synagogue and the evocative Old Jewish Cemetery bear witness to the area’s ancient history.
– Klementinum: magnificent complex once belonging to the Jesuits with spectacular historic libraries.
– Charles Bridge: one of the most famous bridges in the world, rich in statues, legends and splendid views of both riverbanks.
After crossing the bridge, the walk continues to Prague Castle, the heart of political and religious power for more than a thousand years.
– St. Vitus Cathedral: masterpiece of Gothic architecture.
– Mala Strana district: one of the most picturesque areas in the city, with beautiful baroque palaces and romantic streets.
The tour ends at around 15:00 in Malá Strana, among its small squares and charming alleyways at the foot of Charles Bridge.
In the afternoon, around 16:30, you can take part in a 2.5-hour relaxing cruise on the Vltava River, with dinner and live traditional music.
Evening free: Christmas concerts, folklore shows or a walk among the Christmas markets and the illuminated streets of Prague.
SUNDAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to enjoy the last walk among the Christmas markets.
Private transfer to the airport 3 hours before your flight departure.
