General Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS of CETRAS ENT. s.r.o. / Prague Travel DMC valid from 1 January 2024.

1. Scope and Definitions
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") apply to all services offered through the website www.praguetraveldmc.com operated by CETRAS ENT. s.r.o., with its registered office at Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO): 05693179, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague (hereinafter "Provider").

1.2. "Prague Travel DMC" is a registered trade name (business brand) of CETRAS ENT. s.r.o. and does not represent a separate legal entity.

1.3. These GTC form an integral part of any contractual relationship between the Provider and its B2B clients (hereinafter "Client").

1.4. Services provided by the Provider include, but are not limited to: accommodation, transportation, guided tours, event management, and other travel-related and destination management services (hereinafter "Services").

2. Booking and Confirmation
2.1. Bookings must be made in writing (e.g. email or online booking system) and are considered binding once confirmed in writing by the Provider.

2.2. By confirming the booking, the Client agrees to these GTC.

2.3. The scope and pricing of Services are specified in the final confirmation, quotation, or invoice.

3. Prices and Payment Terms
3.1. All prices are quoted in EUR (or CZK, if agreed) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

3.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are as follows:

30% deposit upon booking confirmation;
70% balance no later than 14 days before the start of services.

3.3. For bookings made within 14 days before arrival, 100% prepayment is required upon confirmation.

3.4. All payments must be made by bank transfer. All banking fees are borne by the Client.

4. Changes and Cancellations
4.1. Changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing and confirmed by the Provider.

4.2. Standard cancellation fees apply as follows (unless agreed otherwise):

More than 30 days before arrival: 10% of the total price;
30–15 days before arrival: 30%;
14–7 days before arrival: 50%;
6–3 days before arrival: 75%;
Less than 3 days before arrival or no-show: 100%.

4.3. Services that are non-refundable (e.g. prepaid tickets, event entries) are charged at 100% regardless of cancellation timing.

5. Responsibilities
5.1. The Provider undertakes to provide the agreed Services with professional diligence.

5.2. The Provider is not liable for damages resulting from force majeure, third-party actions, or Client’s conduct.

5.3. The Client is responsible for the behavior of its participants and shall cover any damage they cause.

6. Complaints
6.1. Complaints must be submitted in writing during or immediately after the Services.

6.2. The Provider will assess the complaint and, if justified, offer an appropriate remedy.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
7.1. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all non-public information acquired during cooperation.

7.2. The Provider processes personal data in compliance with applicable laws, including the GDPR. Details are available in the Privacy Policy at www.praguetraveldmc.com.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. These GTC and any related contracts are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

8.2. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic.

9. Final Provisions
9.1. The Provider reserves the right to amend these GTC. The current version is published on the official website.

9.2. These GTC are valid from 1 January 2024 and apply to all contracts concluded from this date onwards.
