Kutná Hora with Kostnice
Kutná Hora’s Sedlec Ossuary, or “bone church” is one of the most well-known burial grounds in the world. The decoration of this chapel consists of more than 40,000 human bones, such as a chandelier, a Schwarzenberg coat of arms, etc. Kutná Hora was the center of silver mining in the Middle Ages and was the second richest city in the Kingdom of Bohemia. Walking through Kutná Hora, you will visit not only the Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara, but you will also see many beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque townhouses and a unique stone fountain from the 15th century.
